Microsoft Italy has announced Microsoft Italy Accelerates band data new collaborations and initiatives within AI LAB (Learn – Adopt – Benefit)? the project launched in September 2023 to promote the responsible adoption of generative Artificial Intelligence among public and private companies? SMEs? professionals and students. Just over a year after its birth? AI LAB has involved over 400 companies and 35 technology partners? with more than 600 innovation projects launched.
Innovation at the service of businesses
Thanks to AI LAB? companies have the staying one step ahead opportunity to evaluate and implement advanced generative AI solutions through customized paths? technological assessments and strategic roadmaps. Among the companies that have started new collaborations with Microsoft Italy are Fondazione Cariplo? Istituto Poligrafico Zecca dello Stato? Saipem and Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele? which are experimenting with innovative projects with significant impacts in their sectors.
AI LAB: new partners and new programs
The AI LAB ecosystem expands with the entry of five new partners? including international software vendors Adobe and Board and three Italian companies: BIP xTech ? specialized in generative AI and cloud computing; Dev4side ? which promotes the adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot for corporate digital transformation; and Digital Attitude ? which offers an AI Skilling platform for training on new technologies.
AI National Skilling Initiative
A key element of the program is the AI National Skilling Initiative ? a training plan with the goal of providing AI skills to one million b2b reviews Italians by 2025. Through the AI Skills Navigator and AI Skills 4 All platforms ? Microsoft offers customized courses for students? professionals and public employees. In collaboration with CRUI (Conference of Rectors of Italian Universities)? advanced training courses have also been launched? including the AI Champ Bootcamp for IT specialists.
In the public sector? the partnership with Fondazione Mondo Digitale led to the creation of the IA4PA course ? designed to train public administration employees on the responsible use of generative AI.
